Bucks Based Golf Champion

Lichtenhein becomes European Young Masters Champion as England Girls secure 1-2 finish.

Ellie Lichtenhein became the European Young Masters Champion, leading an England Girls' Squad 1-2 at Racing Club de France (RCF) La Boulie.

The Buckinghamshire golfer (pictured ) fired rounds of 70, 70, and 73 to finish on -3, edging her England Golf teammate and defending champion, Annabel Peaford (-1), by two shots.

"I'm feeling amazing," said the 15-year-old. "It's so nice to get a big win, and it was one of the big things on my list for 2025. I'm really glad that I was able to pull it off and play some solid golf all week."

Lichtenhein was pushed to the end by Peaford (Walton Heath), who closed her -1 final round with an incredible eagle on the par-5 18th.
