As Aylesbury United Football Club kick off their first game of the Southern Football League Division One Central tomorrow, they are excited for fans to be back at the games.
Bucks radio spoke to Mike Snell, the chairman of the clubs supporters trust, the '21st century ducks', about how important having fans back at the games really is:
"The supporters are the heartbeat of the club and if you dont have them at your games then its really hardly worth pursuing. When people are seen to be supporting and attending the games it really is an encouragement to everybody int he club, and it keeps us as a club going on the basis that one day we will get back to Aylesbury."
Mike is referring to the fact that Aylesbury United have played at various stadiums, and are currently at Chesham United's ground.
But he says the fans still go the distance to support their club...
"We are looking forward to getting people back and despite the fact it's been 15 years since we last played in Aylesbury we still get a very reasonable and healthy turnout every Saturday, it's quite remarkable!"
The ducks are at 'home' tomorrow, with kick off at 3pm, against Dicot Town.
