While on their patrols of Aylesbury, officers originally stopped a vehicle with a defected front head light, however whilst talking to the driver, they noticed the handle of a metal baseball bat readily available in the back seat.
The driver claimed he only had this for “self-defence”, but Police reminded him that carrying weapons for self-defence is still against the law and he will be dealt with by police.
The metal baseball bat was seized from the driver and an investigation continues.
