Laura Kyrke-Smith says it was the hardest decision of her political career so far, but insisted she listened to her constituents and is satisfied the necessary protection is in place for everyone.
The Terminally Ill Adults Bill, which was backed by 314 votes to 291, will now go to the House of Lords for further scrutiny.
