Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision on the M25, near Denham.
The incident occurred at around 1.20am on Tuesday (2/5) between J15 and J16 on the M25 southbound.
The collision involved two vehicles, a white VW Golf GTI and a black Toyota Prius which both ended up in the central reservation.
The four occupants of the Golf GTI, all men wearing tracksuits, fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the Toyota, a man in his twenties, sustained a laceration to his face and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Investigating officer, PC Danielle Layton, of the Joint Roads Policing Unit based at Amersham, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.
“If you were driving in the area and have dash-cam, I would ask you to please check this and contact us if it has captured the collision or the moments leading up to it.
