An Emergency road closure by Thames Water is on the A418 in Haddenham between the Cuddington Road junction and the Dadbrook Road junction.
In a statement released this morning, Thames Water said its specialist team is on-site working to stop the flow of water and fix the issue. To enable the repair, traffic management measures have been implemented on Aylesbury Road, and motorists are being urged to allow extra travel time.
“We apologise for this inconvenience,” the statement read. “We know how disruptive it is if you lose your water supply, so we’ll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can.”
To support residents during the outage, Thames Water has deployed several clean water tankers to pump fresh water directly into the network. This emergency measure is intended to restore water pressure to affected homes and businesses while the repair continues.
The company has promised to provide a further update by 3:00 PM today and has thanked the public for their patience during the disruption.
