Thames Valley Police have confirmed that three men will appear in court this October following an aggravated burglary in Coal Mews earlier this year, which left the occupants with minor injuries.
In a statement issued by Thames Valley Police (TVP), it was confirmed that the three men have been charged in relation to the incident, which occurred on the evening of May 3, 2025. The alleged offenders are facing serious charges after forcibly entering the property at approximately 9:15 PM, threatening the occupants, and making off with personal items.
The three men have been identified as:
Tom Loveridge, aged 43, of no fixed abode, charged with one count of aggravated burglary on May 14, 2025.
Taffyn Betnay, aged 34, of Benouville Close, Oxford, charged with one count of aggravated burglary on Thursday.
Tony Cooke, aged 25, of Eastfields, Blewbury, Oxfordshire, charged with one count of aggravated burglary on Monday.
According to TVP, the offenders were confronted by the occupants during the incident. Despite sustaining minor injuries in the altercation, the victims did not require hospital treatment.
Following their arrests, all three defendants have been remanded in custody. They are due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court during the week commencing October 13, 2025.
